I don't mean to say that it's "ONLY 15 miles."

I just checked the distance on mapmyride dot com and it's 14.13 miles from the center of Chama to the turn-off you need to take.

I don't mean to minimize the effort required to get back on course.

It's one tough uphill climb, believe me, I know.
