TD Geekaholic #2

Just wanted to say there are some random fans like me out here:not connected at all to any of the riders, but obsessively logging on to watch the leaderboard, listen to the call-ins and follow the race. I found out about the race through Jill's blog and have loved reading about the gruesome conditions, the characters in the race, the Italian roadie scandals (reported by the always rules-conscious Brits), the sprained ankles, deep mud, big hail, cold and hard winds, crazy Montanans on the trail, grizzly sightings, stoned sounding Canadians, tandem-onium, the nutso (read: badass) epileptic gal on a fixie (what's a little seizure on a mad race like this while camping and riding/hike-a-biking dozens of miles a day?), the mad Plesko on a single speed, and Matt Lee rocking the front of the pack.. for how long we don't know!
The golf US Open, March Madness and other sporting events pale in comparison.
So, keep up the updates and commentary, the loyal fans demand news!!!
Ride hard, we are silently cheering every day out here.
