Dween's post of TD Geekaholic #2 made me laugh soooo hard! I feel like you summed up everything really well! My husband was describing to someone how the TD has consumed our lives for the past 11 days. It is like a reality tv show where you become connected to the characters with their ups, downs, and when they decide to quit you become really sad... I mean one of the main characters got voted off the show(but the executives didn't decide, the individual did) so when you read that so and so "pulled the plug or threw in the towel", your not sure whether you can listen to the call-in of the sad rider who just endured awful conditions and had to make the decision. I obviously have my favorite character the "badass epileptic girl on a fixie" who wants to be the first person to complete the divide on a fixie...yes, I want her more than anyone else to be one of the riders who crosses the finish line in Mexico.
Thanks to those who are following this and giving their support and encouragement to my sister!
