Felix Wong Working Thru Hamstring Issues

Racer update about:

Hi this is Felix Wong calling at 12:45 Thursday, June 19th from Helena, Montana. Yesterday, I had a great day. I was feeling stronger than I ever had been all week and was climbing very well in contrast today has been pretty horrible First I was descending then a bird flew right into my spokes and I think the bird was dead (sorry about that) and then shortly after that I pulled my left hamstring and consequently I had to walk up from the next 2 divide crossings. I thought my life was over. My left hamstring was really in trouble. I thought I popped a vain or something like that. Thank goodness that was it. I got back on my bike at may about 10AM this morning. I think I can manage. The hamstring actually feels a lot better. I going to press on and Hopefully I can make it to Basin and sleep in a real bed and take a real shower for the first time in a week. I'm feeling pretty gross right now. I'll talk to you later, OK bye.

You will feel GREAT today!!!!!

Hey Felix, I'm keeping up with you, big time. I'm sure your hamstring will do fine. You are too great an athlete to let that hinder you. You have the mindset to overcome that. Two more days and the toughest part will be behind you. I know you'll stay positive

(This was my montra- now it is yours)

I am back home now. I am telling my family all about you. You've got a lot of new fans here.

Looks like 3 have pulled out at this point.

Keep up that pace, man. your racing for more than just yourself now!
