Mary Collier Temporarily Off Route for Treatment to her Leg

Racer update about:

Hey its Mary Collier. I've reset my SPOT unit. But now you will notice that it is in Dillon, MT. I had to pull off route for a little bit to get some work done on my leg. Having an issue with swelling. So I need to take care of that for a day then I'm hoping to jump back on route in the morning. I'll keep you posted. Good night.

Ouch

So sorry you are having these swelling problems. Take care of yourself and get back out there soon as I know you can do it! You are the woman that rode down Fleecer.

Before you Ask

Going off route is perfectly legal. You just have to get back on route at the same place. Rule states:

"In the event of a mechanical, medical, or other emergency, a racer may be assisted in moving backwards or directly off the route, but not forward. A racer may also receive assistance returning back to the GDMBR...."

Feel better!

I know it sucks to be laid up but please don't be tempted to head back out before you're absolutely ready. The trail isn't going anywhere :-)

Take care & good luck!

rest up

Feel better! Taker ez then hiter hard again! Hugs and mucho good juju !!

Thanks everyone

I think I've figured out my problems and I'll take as long as needed to straighten this up and then get back out and catch some of ya! heehee!

HANG IN THERE!!

Stay strong Mary. Ash and Jon wanted you to know the entire congregation is praying for you. We believe in you. Take care of your health first, the rest will come!

Patience

Keep the long term goal in mind. Take care of yourself first and get on the trail when your ready. A little patience now will pay big benefits later.

Hang in there,
Croydon
