Riders head out from Y Mountain Lodge in Banff

15 of the 16 riders gather in front of the Y Mountain Lodge at 10AM to start their ride. Unfortunately, Kevin Montgomery, is still working on the Leaderboard for the website and will have to start a little later. We are lucky to have Kevin who is willing to give us this time when the clock is clicking. Lead by John Stamstead, the riders head out past the Banff Springs Hotel and down to the trail.

Good luck guys

What an adventure... Good luck guys, stay healthy and safe on course and don't forget to have fun, too. I'll be following your progress. BTW, the SPOT GPS tracking idea is awesome!!!

To bad the article in

To bad the article in cycling news printed the wrong record setting facts.
Matt Lee does NOT hold the record, I Jay Petervary hold the record of 15d 4h 18m, I did it last year.
Just to keep it clear.

Record

The article states you hold the record for the Great Divide race not the Tour divide and according to the Great Divides website that information is correct.
