It's been a fairly straight forward day so far, no incident on route, and hope to get a few more miles in this afternoon, it's kind of a nice day for it but just battling against the winds a bit.

Glad to hear all is going well out there and you haven't become a grizzly snack yet!
The race looks awesome, not as good as Brickhill woods where the scariest wildlife is the ramblers obviously!

Hi John, I've been following your progress. The squiggly line you've laid down so far looks very impressive. I read some reports of mud and thought this would help the Britpack? Simon thinks your map-blob is the slowest to start moving in the morning? How's the bike, have you got halfway through some tyres yet? And have you burnt thought any shorts yet.
