Rick calls in from Wise River

This is Rick leaving Wise River. I don't know what day it is but yesterday, another day of rain and hail. It was OK coming up to Fleecer Ridge and then it started raining and hailing and I got up on the ridge and got into a snow squal. Coming down it was very rainy and hailing, coldest day of the race yet. Got down off of the mountain and the rain was relentless and the wind was very bad. So, I was cold and wet, so, I decided to stay in Wise River. So, I'll give you a report later on. Thanks.

Keep your chin up. I checked the radar out there and it looks like you should be alright, I'm not seeing anything out there right now.

Wise Decision
Pun intended...You're playing it smart. Dry out and warm up to fight another day. NOAA forecast shows fair weather at least until Thursday for the Wise River area. Looks good for today so hope your ride today is going (went) well. The low is supposed to be 38 tonight, and temps are going up to 82 tomorrow, but not sure where you'll be so it may be off a bit. You really are an inspiration to us all. Keep sending us updates!
