Hey this is Cricket Butler signing in from Butte I just pulled in about 10:30 this morning. Had a great ride from Lincoln to Helena yesterday, I had to stop in Helena for about 4 hrs unfortunately getting some work on my bike my seat post had cracked and some ummm brake pads that kind of stuff and then I left Helena much later than I anticipated and uhh had to do Lava Mountain in the dark, almost…very bad and on the way down into Basin I had a bear encounter. Giant bear coming around the corner…ya know startled him..had to stay there for a little bit probably for about an hour he was in the road, he wouldn’t move. He actually charged me at one point umm I had my bear banger in one hand just yelling and my bike between me and him and just praying to God he wasn’t gonna do anything. But when it got dark and I couldn’t see him anymore umm it was a little frightening so..but I did make it into Basin just very late and umm I’m in Butte now. I’m gonna head outa here in a couple hours I’m just gonna eat and get some new food and rest for a few hours. Alright! Hope everyone is doing well. Talk to ya soon. Bye.

Hey everybody it’s Cricket Butler from Lincoln got in about 8:30 tonight, we were gonna try to push through but the hotel was just tooo inviting. Umm good day today, knees still hurting just kinda nursing it. Taking it easy walking some hills that kind of stuff not really pushing umm just trying to get that feeing a little better. Hoping I’ll feel better soon umm hopefully tomorrow will be a good day heading out…don’t know where ill be. Have no plan just peddling till I cant peddle anymore. That’s about it ummm talk to you guys soon! Bye. 

Hi, It's Cricket Butler it's about 10am in Whitefish.  I came in last night, the 14th around 9:30 with Jeremy from California.  Um, rough day yesterday going over the pass with snow and um it was great getting into Whitefish to have some pizza and a nice room and um trying to get my bike computer fixed today at Glacier Cyclery and heading out later today.  It's 10am right now, probably about 10:30 heading out.  Unfortunately, got to have a good computer so I do not get lost um that's it for now.  I will talk to everybody soon.
