Cricket Calls From Jackson getting some repairs

Racer update about:

Cricket Butler calling in from Jackson got off at Moran Junction and had to come in to Jackson to get some repairs.  Rear hub completely gone from all of the mud bottom bracket also, so I should be riding a Ferrari tomorrow, it should be nice.  I have to give it all to Fitzgerald Cycles, they came in after hours.  Tim worked on my bike when I got into town at 8 oclock and it is like 11 pm now, so he did an awesome.  I can't thank him enough.  SO anyway, it was a beautiful day today, no wind, no rain, no animal encounters.  It was beautiful and I thoroughly enjoyed it.  Love being in Wyoming now.  Hopefully hitting Pinedale tomorrow and I will check in then.

Cricket Calls in from Lima

Racer update about:

Hey, it's Cricketchecking in from Lima.  I just got in (Sunday night).  In 2 minutes I can't begin to tell you what I just experienced over Medicine Lodge Pass.  It was the most demoralizing experience of my life.  Basically from Grants to Lima it's almost unrideable and going south over the passI would say there is 13 miles that are almost unpushable.  My wheels were stuck, wouldn't turn, even walking in the sage off the road, just the mud was everywhere.  It was crazy.  It took me 7.5 hours to get to Hildredge Ranch, which is 6 miles before the pass into Lima.  7.5 hours, it was insane.  I just wanted to sit down and cry but I didn't because I needed to get into town.  Anyway, resupplying heregot the bke washed and cleaned my tires and brakes, trying to get a lube and I'm probably going to move on, I might be here tonight, it depends.  But anyway, anyone coming over that pass, just beware, it's wet, it's hell.  But I am still smiling and still laughing and I doon't know why.  Anyway, just checking in, everyone be good.  Bye.

Hi everybody, it's Cricket Butler.  I'm in Butte, came back rode south of Butte yesterday afternoon when I got in and felt really bad and felt the best thing to do was to go back to Butte and get some sleep and rest and good food, and I did, and I feel much better.  It's about 6 o'clock and I am heading out and getting dropped off where I got picked up yesterday.  I just wanted to thank everyone for the emails and phone calls and text messages.  It's so cool to hear from everybody um some of them are making me laugh and some are making me cry, it's just really cool to hear from home and friends and family and people that I miss and people that I have met along the way . new friends and people that have been interested in the race.  I also wanted to thank the shop here, the Outdoorsman in Butte.  They have been fantastic.  Rick and Rob took care of my bike and they have been taking care of me.  They have went above and beyond everything they should have done and they rock, so just remember that!  That's it for now.  I am going to try and get some mileage in, hopefully my legs are feeling good and um I got a little bit of sleep, yea, and hopefully no bears today!
