Mike Dion's Meets Momma and Baby Bear on the Trail

Racer update about:

Hello there. Its Monday, 6/16 9:48PM. This is Mike Dion. I'm in Holland Lake Lodge. Just had a great deal. Nancy hooked iwth up with a killer dinner. Unfortunately, its a little bit late. I was hoping to get a little bit further today, but it was an Epic day on a mountain bike. Let's see, what was some of the high points. Breakfast this morning at Swan Valley Cafe. Samon omellete which actually tasted amazing. Actually real food. Not just food for fuel so started off with a killer breakfast leaving from Columbia Falls. Then hit the pass and the knees started acting up again so that kinda put me back a little bit but saw some great wildlife. Couple things, actually had a Bear run in today. I was cruisin up the trail and looking down at the map and I looked up and a little cub ran across the road and went up a tree. I looked across the road and there was the Mother Bear about 15 feet away and I slowly turned around and went back a little bit. The Bear darted off into the woods. I backed up a little bit further. Then finally the Mother Bear crossed the road, got the cub and took off. That was interesting. Lots of deer, a fawn. There you go. But I got lost a little bit too, unfortunately. It put me back a little bit. Single track all grassed in area got a little tricky today. So anyway all is well. Micala, Dillon, Tina, thanks for all of the energy coming my way. All the hugs and kisses coming my way. Appreciate it. Good night.
