Mike Dion's Miracle

Racer update about:

Hey there its Mike Dion. It Thursday 6/19 just before 7 o'clock. I'm in Butte. Just stopped by the bike shop picked up a few items that I lost on the trail. Just having a Pork Chop John sandwich which was amazing. A miracle happened today. My right knee started kinda working itself out and started feeling good. So appreciate all the prayers. Tina, thank you very much for the thoughts and prayers. Definitely, the knees are working out so something is going good. Thanks for the good vibes and the good thoughts. Mikaila and Dylan, thanks for the all of the hugs and kisses coming my way. I definitely felt them today. I was actually able to stand up on the bike and peddle which I haven’t been able to do in the last 3 days. Which was good because the big grinder out of Helena was longgggg. Took a long time to get to Butte. We are going to stock on up some food and hit the trail and try to camp out somewhere between here and Wise River. Left knee is still a little funky so what ever you guys out there have been doing to send good vibes my way, keep it coming. If I can get my left knee feeling like my right knee today, I’ll be rockin’ this sucker out. Alright guys. Actually, some more thanks out there besides Tina and the kids, which obviously, thank you very much. Some other family members, my Mom, for the thoughts and support, Tina's mom, Norma, for the thoughts and support. So and there are a whole lot of others that I have a few more days to give some more thanks. That will come later. Goodbye.

Great news

Mike,
I'm happy your knees are getting better and keep that positive attitude....you can do this.
I'm so proud of you.
Love you, Mom

Hang in there!

Mike,
Hang in there! Great going! I so admire your courage, commitment and risk taking. I've not followed you on the leaderboard but get very regular reports from your family-Ten, Mikaila and Dylan who say prayers on a regular basis for your continued good health and safety. Mikaila told me her dad ran into two bears and a bull moose. For Dylan's part, he is mostly interested in your speedy and safe return. When I tell my friends and colleagues about your epic adventure they all comment on what stamina and perserverance it takes to do this and of course they also comment on the necessity of having your family's support. So God speed; I will continue to send energy and good thoughts. Take good care.
Norma
