Mike Dion's Wild Animal Adventures

Racer update about:

Hello, good evening this Mike Dion. Its Tuesday, 6/11 11:43. I'm in Lincoln. Actually rolled in here about 10:15. Just found a pizza. I'm inhaling that. Interesting day not a ton of mileage but pretty darn epic. I'm sure you heard the snow up above Seeley Lake. I called earlier as I beginning that having no idea that it was going to be trudge fest that it actually ended up being so that was a pretty big chunk of this morning trying to get across that. Then I made it in Ovando and stopped at the Ovando store and loaded up on liquids and checked the map out. Actually considered staying in Ovando tonight but a little bit tailwind was blowing through and all signs were pointing to pushing onto Lincoln. So I went ahead and pushed forward and came into Lincoln. More crazy animal sightings. About 5 before 10, it was getting pretty dusk, I had about 8 miles to go to get into Lincoln. Low and behold, another black bear kinda trudging, trotting down the road right in front of me. So I stopped and yelled at it. It didn't hear me. There was a big creek crossing there so I had to get a little closer to it. I yelled a little louder and it finally heard me and cruised up the hill. So I felt safe to get by it and started to pick up some speed again and about 20 seconds later a big old Bull Elk ran out of front of me from the trees right in front of me in the trail about 10-15 feet. Ran in front of me for about 15 seconds then darted back into the forest again. Get me off this road. I just want to get to Lincoln. PLEASE. So I finally rode into Lincoln. Here I am. Going to crash. Alright, good night.
