Hey, it’s the Petervary’s callin in…we’re in Butte, its about 11 AM, we’re getting ready to head out of here. Yesterday was a very trying day, it was a lot of passes we climbed…I think about five, and we left our Spot in Lincoln, and when we got to Helena we had to get our cassette and chain replaced because it was worn down already…and so, we had a great day performance-wise, cleaned all of the passes which was really cool…and, that was good times. Then, made it to Helena in about 12 hours and had a 3 hour mechanical there. So, that’s what was goin’ on. We made it into Basin last night about midnight and slept in some dog crap…and then made it into Butte this morning, had some breakfast, we’re at the bike shop now and just gettin’ ready to head out. So, alright, we’ll talk to you soon and…we’ve got another Spot so hopefully that should be up working in a little bit. We’re going to be getting the Love Shack back on track…alright, talk to you later. -DB

Tuesday afternoon. It is 3:00. It is Jp & Tracey. We made it to Helena.  We are sitting here at Taco Del Sol having a fat burrito which is awesome. Props to them. Thank you. We are getting our bikes worked on. A little bit, super dry hub in the rear getting my fork sort of aired up and making sure I take a pumped on the trail.  We lost our spot unit so for people who think we are just sitting there or traveling with someone else, we are not. We are going to try to buy one or get another one along the way or have on sent somewhere. We will work on that ourselves. We don’t know where anyone else is but that is fine we like it like this. We are going to be pushing on into Basin and then onto Butte.  We will talk to you guys later this evening. Ok, great. Have a good day.

Ok, and thanks again, and just wanted to toss out a thanks to Jill and Andy for staying at our house and watching our kids, our dog and cat, Burning and Kitty,…so, I have a lot of people to thank but for now, that will do. Ok, talk to you soon. Thanks. Bye - DB

Hello, hello, It’s 7:20, Monday and we’re here in Ovando, its JayP, things have been going well…uh…things of interest today were getting’ over Richmond Pass…there’s a bunch of snow…and pushing the tandem through that is a trip in itself…ah, today was a little wearing, we’re doing a little layover and just freshening up, showering, getting some good rest with the feet up, drying out all of our clothes. Um, we’ve been getting caught in some wet conditions for sure and just throughout the last couple of days and last couple nights of dew, everything’s wet.  Um, yeah, things are great, got see another cub today, got to see a huge cat, that was really neat, and looking forward to tomorrow and some good rest tonight, and we’re both feeling really good…And, I could use some services in Helena for…I need to get some air in my shock, I keep blowing the blow-off valve and keep losing air, so, we’re shooting for that and we’ll talk to you soon. Thanks again everyone. - DB

Hi, this is Tracey calling in from Ovando. We had a wonderful day of riding, of course, beautiful fire roads, beautiful forests, lots of great scenery, and different views…and it was just great. Got to see a huge cat today, so that was pretty neat to see, and um, yeah, we’re in Ovando and just going to clean up, rest up a little bit, and then tackle the pass coming up here, Huckleberry Pass, and then just keep right on moving. But things are going good. The Love Shack’s right on track, holding up great…and yeah, we’re moving along, so things are good and hope all is well out there in the big wild world. Talk to you soon. - DB

And, uh, we’re going to head out, just uh, keep ridin’ til’ we get to the next step, the point here…so, um, what else?...Today was a great day of riding by the way, absolutely beautiful forest that we went through, and, um, yeah, looking forward to some more, so we’ll talk to you soon. This is Jay at 3:00p on Sunday. We are in Whitefish. We missed a turn last night and it is a 30 mile difference. We are not too worried about it.  Had a bunch of good food and are restocking. We are heading out in a few minutes. We will see how far we get tonight. The weather has been great and we had a really good nights rest. We are being taken care of by Glacier Cyclery who gave us a nice tune-up and we ate next door at a pizzeria. Life is good on a bike.

This is Tracy calling in. I will give you a re-cap on the events that happened the last couple of days. I was a little out of it yesterday. Lot of climbing in Canada. Up and down. Coming downhill on loose gravely rocks and wet mud at 40 miles an hour can be a little scary.  Getting used to it and it is becoming quite fun. Last night we took a wrong turn on The 114 and missed the right hand turn. Ended up going about 30 miles out of the way. Came upon some really pretty lakes and it was quite worth the view. Right now we are in whitefish getting ready to head on and make it as far as we can . Thanks everybody for being there and helping us with this big adventure. We will see you next time Take care. er

Hello, this is Jay, and this is Tray…Petervary. (Jay) Obviously we made it to the Banff start, and uh, the last couple of days have been pretty good…we’ve seen a bear today with a couple of cubs which was pretty nice…with a little standoff situation, uh, and the riding’s been good…little on and off, little wet, but we’re in really good spirits. Tracey and I are doing great, and um, yeah, we’re going to be pushing on through the night here for a little while…and uh, I guess that’s all I have to say for right now, alright thanks. (Tracey) Hey, its been pretty wicked out there, good times fer sure. Lovin’ my new bike and, uh, yeah, we’re getting it all dialed in. Um, we'll talk to you later, see ya. -DB
