Hello, Josh Ficke calling in. The tour is living up to expectations this year. I am still feeling a bit of pain from day 2 hike a bike. Yesterday’s hike a bike was also quite fun too, over at Richmond Peak. Lovely. I enjoyed it. They have a lovely sandwich in town in Seeley. Today should be fantastic. We are really looking forward to it. Everyone is ready to go out and just crush on the mountains. Cheers!

Hi  Blaine Nester calling in from Ovando - just having breakfast here.  Stayed at Seeley Lake last night and heading over towards Helena today.  A little snow over Richmon Peak yesterday and a big thank you to Kristen at Holland Lake Lodge - very accommodating - very nice guy.  Saw one nice grizzly this morning - other than that - going to be a nice day - everything's going good. So, uh, check in next time.

Hello everybody. Paul Howard calling in from Whitefish. It's 8.00am on Tuesday 16th. The sun is shining and I'm enjoying breakfast for the first time in three days. It doesn't look too hilly today and I intend to have an easier day, after two tough days, trying to get to Holland Lake or camp at Holland Lodge but if I'm a little short it won't matter. Yesterday wasn't too bad - 10.5 hours from Eureka. The climb up to Red Meadow Lake was fantastic and it was a beautiful spot. The day before was frustrating as well as tough. Frustrating because it was 114 miles not 104 miles to Roosville and we were told to "just gain" 9 of those which was 3,500' to 4,500' of Golton Pass. Also when it says "hike a bike" it doesn't say you're likely to lose your bike in the river, break your gear changer or break your ankle especially after 30+ other riders have gone through and churned up the shalely ground. Also Cabin Pass was only briefly mentioned. Its all very well taking on an adventure and taking on the unknowns but most of the rest of it isn't quite unknown and frankly when there is a revision the reroute could be better described. Still a jacuzzi at this wonderful hotel, has made me feel a lot better.

Good morning, its JayP here, and T-Race, and its 7:45 AM and we’ve been in Lincoln for a little bit now and we’re getting ready to leave, so, things are going well, and uh, just wanted to say that TANDEM-ONIUM is running wild and we expect to have a good day out so let’s keep our fingers crossed and, and uh, yeah, we’ll talk to you soon, maybe when we get down to Helena. Ok, and thanks again, and just wanted to toss out a thanks to Jill and Andy for staying at our house and watching our kids, our dog and cat, Burning and Kitty,…so, I have a lot of people to thank but for now, that will do. Ok, talk to you soon. Thanks. Bye - DB

Hi, this is Jill Homer, I'm calling from Seeley Lake.  We had an eventful day 4, but it was actually a lot of fun.  We had to bluff charge two bears because they wouldn't get off the trail.  One was a young grizzly and one was a black bear, that was pretty exciting.  And then just did some nice riding and headed up Richmond Peak at sunset which was amazing... so beautiful.  And then, the snow, which was kinda frightening.  But, in the end, you really can't have a good race without having to push your bike through the snow for just a little bit.  But, so, that was a fun day.  Yeah, just headed out tomorrow for day 5.  Looking forward to it, so...talk to you later, bye!

Kurt here! I am with Chris and Joe. We rolled into Lincoln a little bit ago. We were able to get some groceries and are now looking for a restaurant to get some dinner. Today went really well. My legs are finally starting to come around. Got over Richmond pass and over Huckleberry. Huckleberry is just gorgeous. We have had fairly good luck with the weather.  Things are looking up and tomorrow we are heading South. We will try to get a few more passes behind us. Until next time. Later!

Steve McGuire says; in Big Fork tonight going to sleep inside for 1st time trying to catch up on some sleep Got caught in storm last night on Whitefish Divide. Slept in an outhouse. IT was warm.   Going to try to average 100 miles a day to get through Montana. A pretty entertaining new route in Canada to say the least but that is over. I have been back and forth seeing Jeff Kirby. All in all the bikes holding up well. Physically, my legs feel great and I just need to get some sleep.
