Stephen Gleasner Has a Tough Day

Racer update about:
Hello Steve Gleasner calling in from Lima. Its about Monday at 5 o'clock. Today was my toughest day yet. I only made it from Grants to Lima. My theory is this cough that I have had since day one or two has kinda crept into my energy cells. So I checked into a hotel here in Lima and going to reassess in the morning. See what I can do, if I can do anything to get myself going a little better than I did today. Anybody that has ridden the ride from Lima to Grants will tell you that its not very tough. It isn't. Its mostly down hill. I was like a sack of potatoes riding through on my bike. So anyway, I'm trying to put myself back together. That's that. Until later, bye. coughing

stephen so good to here you have made it this far with the cough that has plagued a few of us . i hope that you can get past the effects that dave and myself went through, they are not very pleasent . i remember that you had the same cough back at the start that we did . take your vitamin c and stay healthy bro.

Glutamine?

Glutamine, which is found in the good recovery potions, seems to do me well for mild cases of the bug.
Best of luck.

Hi Sherry. Just noticed that you tagged this entry under "steve_gleasner" but all his other entries are under "stephen_gleasner". Is it possible to change that so they stay together?

Thanks for doing all the work on this - we really appreciate being able to read as well as hear the call-ins.

OK

Sure, he just shortened it when he called in with his message and I followed suit. Changed it.

Hope you're feeling better this morning

Hey Stephen - Hope you can push through this cough and feel good again.

Stephen - it's your sister. Take care. Thinking of you and hoping you are feeling better. I know you need to rest and there's no time for that on the TOUR DIVIDE. Hang in there!!

cough

Steve-(way)-up-the-road,

Cough to get off!!!!!!

Oxygen is your friend and you've got a great system for utilizing it. Don't fret about a tough day. Enjoy the scenery and breathe in the world. You own it!

We're all thinking of you here in Appleton. You're an inspiration to us all.

Hang in there, man!

Alex-(way)-down-the-road

cough it up...

Glutamine? Where the hell do you get that when you are in the woods? The root of a Gluta plant? Heehee...

I hope the cough goes away and you keep up the pace!

Sorry to hear your cough is sapping your strength, but glad it comes at a time the road is not as taxing. You are gaining strength in other ways that will help you down the road, when your body catches up to your drive.

Awesome journey. We fellow your every move.
