Dedication to Dave

I admire all the racers and am pleased to hear them dedicating the race to Dave. I also am happy to hear that Dave was an organ donor. He has in his way also now saved someones life. Isnt it nice to think that perhaps one day his heart or lungs may do this race again? I like to think that could happen. My prayers go out to his family.

You two should do this race. I know you would make it through. Thanks for watching. Hope it was fun. Dave's extremely unfortunate event certainly changed my perspective of things for the rest of the journey. I only met him briefly in Elkford the first night and right away knew he was the kind of guy you would just like to be around.
