Mike called in from the Finish Line in Antelope Wells at 8:50 a.m. this morning. He's waiting for a ride back to El Paso for the return flight and he's already talking about doing it all again some time!  Well done Mike!  It's been a real inspiration following you this past month.  (So at 45 years young, does Mike set a record?)

Go Mike!

YOU ARE THE MAN

Mike,

To finish this race after riding virtually alone from the very begining is an awesome acheivement. Way to hang in there. Have a safe trip home to your family.

Call me @ The Plain Dealer, please

I just learned of Mike's accomplishment and want to write about it for The PD. Pretty amazing! Especially for an old dude. (I'm 46.)
I hope to hear from him and/or anyone who can connect me to him by phone.

Super job Mike! I was in

Super job Mike! I was in Cleveland/Parma over the weekend telling everyone around there about your push to the border. I know Steven Gleasner (from Maine)was 47 last year and was a finisher. ( I believe that to be his correct age). Hope the PD sends me a copy!

Again, Congrads! Kevin Hall

Way to go Mike!!!

I briefly met Mike at the start. We parted near the dam after viewing some big horned sheep! Needless to say, he made it a lot farther than I ! I am 45 too! Maybe next year!???
