(This came in at 6:30 a.m. Wednesday but got missed. Sorry.)

Hey, it’s Eric Bruntjen calling from Rawlins, Wyoming. I just want to leave one more message in the morning before I take off. The bike’s holding up pretty well. I’ve got some stuff going to Steamboat and I’m going to have the NASCAR treatment done there so I might be hanging out in Steamboat a little bit tomorrow morning assuming I make it there tonight.
Wyoming’s been great. I love the antelope. They’re terrific; I can’t believe how they even run so fast through that sage, even through some trees. Some of them will run next to you -- not too close, maybe 100 yards away -- and then they’ll kind of look at you and just hit the gas and fly across the road in front of you, like you’re the train and they’re the drunk teenagers in Dad’s borrowed car. One, maybe two steps on that road and they’re just gone. They’re amazing creatures.
About ready to have some breakfast and then get going. Got a big pass today. I’m definitely learning a lot about the Continental Divide; getting to know the dirt and the animals. That dirt just gets in you, it becomes you, you’re eating it all day long and you’re just absorbing this amazing geological and sociological feature of our country. It’s been a good ride. So I will hopefully check in from Steamboat. Probably going to camp tonight outside of Steamboat and then cruise in in the morning, hit the post office, get my bike tuned up. New brake pads are a definite necessity and I’ve got to reload the GPS with coordinates, so ... thanks. Bye.

Hey, this is Rick calling in from Big Springs, leaving Big Springs.  Uh, I got on the railroad surface, and since I was disqualified for missing Big Sheep Divide, the other side of Lima, I've decided to take alternate routes when I deem necessary for my knees and body.  So, that soft volcanic ash on the 30 mile stretch of the railroad, I've decided to take a parallel route down to Ashton Flag Highway.... ....Cut off?

Good morning, this is T-Race and JayP calling in from Salida, we are heading out of here, had a good night’s sleep…much needed. Yeah, had a good pull yesterday and things went well.  Just getting back on the bike and getting’ groovin’ here, trying to make it on…onward! Were going up over Marshall’s Pass, so yeah, gotta focus on that and then hopefully some smooth sailing and eventually make it down to Del Norte today hopefully…we’re not sure…we’ll see how it goes. But, we’re doing fine, everything’s going well, bike’s running good, and um, I miss my Burnin’ and my Kitty…but uh, alright, we’re groovin’ and making our way down to the line, and yeah, we’ll talk to you later.

Hey Tour Dividers, this is Chris Plesko.  I am in Salida -- amazingly enough.  I left Kremmling this morning at, I don't know, 7:30 or so.  Got some good sleep last night, some extra food, and felt a lot better.  Busted it to Breckenridge in a push.  Got a pizza, got a little pizza to go and headed straight up for Salida.  Ran into Tracey and Jay to wish Jay a happy birthday.  And other than getting hammered on Boreas Pass by a storm, it was a pretty good day weather wise.  The winds were generally favorable and the head winds weren't too terrible and I made it to Salida in a decent hour.  So, gonna get some more sleep tonight, gonna get the bike freshed up for the final push in the morning and I'll be headed south.  Looking forward to getting these last thousand miles, or a little less, out of the way.  I hope everyone else out there is having a really good time and this section of the course is really beautiful so hopefully they'll enjoy it.  It's nice to be in my home state.  Alright, next stop is probably Del Norte.  Bye.

Hi this is Erik Lobeck calling in From Kremling, Colorado.  Made it out of Steamboat at lunch today got re-supply, mail drop, and end everything else requisite.  Did some climbing after yesterdays bonk day where I just didn’t quite have the energy in me out of Rawlins because I didn’t eat right. So learning that valuable lesson again just try to eat right and it will be better in the long run.  Anyway today was just beautiful made it into Kremling at sunset with rain clouds and rainbows and beautiful sunlight, and pesky mosquitoes. Unfortunately, that were biting me all the way up despite insect repellent.  But I have a comfortable motel room in Kremling Colorado today. Interesting getting a room.  It was interesting seeing my family today since I live right on rout. So it was pretty hard to resist the magnet that would make me want to stop so I figured I should just go for a quick turn around and get out of town so that’s what I did. Anyway that’s it. Bye.

This is Rick calling from Big Springs.  Left Lima this morning and that road between Lima and the state line was the worst road or section of road that I've been on for the race.  It went on forever, and it was bumpy as hell, but I could tell where the earlier racers had hit it during the rainy days.  Yeah, I don't see how they made it through.  It was really bad, but I'm doing OK, and I'll try to call tomorrow.
