Hi this is Ardie Olson. It is June 25th, Wednesday at 1:35 p.m. I am in Steamboat Springs, CO. Everything is going pretty good. Had to hike through some more snow this morning coming over the Pass into town. But kind of used to that by now. Stop by bike shop here and get a few things. A couple of my water bottle holders have broke from the vibration and rocks and everything. Other than that everything seems to be holding together. I had to buy a few more plastic zip ties so that I can use those to repair things. Other than that I'm doing good. I'll be headin out of town today. Hey, This is Ardie Olson and it is Tuesday, June 24th at 9:12 AM. I’m in Rawlins, WY and I’m sitting at the table at Square Shooters getting me a mega-breakfast and then I’ve got to find some food for the trail and I’ll be headed out towards, I guess it’s Steamboat that’s next. I don’t know if I’ll quite make it there tonight but we’ll give it a shot. Yesterday was pretty good, I had the wind to my back, I made some good miles. I hope everybody else is doing well. Hey this Ardie Olson. Its Monday, June 23rd 4:44 a.m. in the morning. I am leaving Pinedale, WY. Trying to make it to at least Atlantic City, maybe a little bit past that today. Propbaby have to camp in the Great Basin and finish that up tomorrow. Everything is going pretty good. Just needed a little maintenance time in Pinedale. Hope everybody is doing well. I'm doing OK. Hey this is Ardie Olson. I am in Coulter Village, WY. I didn't call from Flagg Ranch because I was trying to make it to Coulter Village before they closed. I just barely did. They closed at 9:30 and I was here at 9:15. Right now it is 10 o'clock p.m. June 20th, Friday. I'm doing good. Got to find a place to sleep here. Everything is bear protected around here. So I either got to get a campsite or stealth camp somehow. I guess the Pass coming over from Island Park to get over the Tetons over towards Flagg Ranch was really tough going with lots of snow to get through the roads. Read more »

Hey again this is Ardie Olson and I'm calling from the payphone in Wise River, MT. It 12:12 p.m. June 18th, Wednesday. The weather is nice and sunny, a little cool and windy, but other than that great day so far. I got out early and got me a great breakfast at Denny's and that did the trick and made it over the pass and down Fleecer with no problem. I'm going to get me some supplies here in Wise River, then be headin out for Polaris. Hope everybody is doing well. Goodbye.

It was tough coming through the Lava Trail area today. Very rough trail, lots of rocks and washouts and stuff like that. But was pretty typical. I expected that. I camped out last night probably about 25 miles back from Helena outside of Lincoln, MT. I'm headed to Butte today and maybe past that if all goes well.
